A Project-Based Learning Child Care & Preschool in IOI Resort City

Welcome to The ChildTime® IOI Resort City, Putrajaya, where children explore, learn, and grow with care.

Located in IOI Resort City, our centre offers a meaningful early learning journey in a safe, nurturing, and joyful environment. Through Project-Based Learning (PBL)Thinking Classroom practices, and our HEART™ framework, we guide children to grow with confidence, curiosity, and purpose.

At The ChildTime® IOI Resort City, Putrajaya, we offer infant, toddler, play school, and preschool programmes for children up to 5 years old. Our approach focuses on creating meaningful experiences that support not just learning, but the overall development of each child.

Soon, we will also be expanding our Thinker Program for older children — creating more space for deeper thinking, exploration, and growth beyond the early years.

Where Learning Begins—Even Before Words

Even at this early stage, children are gently introduced to elements of
Project-Based Learning (PBL) and the Thinking Classroom through:

  • sensory exploration

  • cause-and-effect play

  • guided observation

  • responsive interaction with caregivers

Because before a child can speak,
they are already observing, processing, and making meaning of the world.

We don’t rush learning.
We build readiness from the very beginning—through connection, consistency, and meaningful experiences.

Why this is powerful:

  • You subtly introduce Thinking Classroom at infant level (very few centres can claim this)

  • You shift from “care” → “brain + emotional architecture”

  • Aligns with your signature:
    Readiness starts early
    Not worksheet-driven

“At The ChildTime®, learning doesn’t start when a child is ready to study it starts when a child begins to experience the world.”

At The ChildTime®, our Toddler Care Program is where early independence, curiosity, and thinking begin to take shape.

Grounded in our HEART™ Framework, this stage is designed to nurture children through movement, exploration, language, relationships, and meaningful routines in a safe and responsive environment.

This is also where the foundation of Project-Based Learning (PBL) begins.

For toddlers, PBL does not start with big projects. It starts with the earliest forms of exploration.

This is also where the foundation of Project-Based Learning (PBL) begins.

For toddlers, PBL does not start with big projects. It starts with the earliest forms of exploration:

  • dot and line

  • mark making

  • sensory discovery

  • hands-on play

  • cause-and-effect experiences

These simple moments are not small.
They are the beginning of how children observe, connect, express, and make meaning of the world around them.

At this stage, children are also gently introduced to the Thinking Classroom through guided interaction, open-ended materials, simple choices, and experiences that encourage them to explore with purpose.

Because before children are ready to explain their thinking,
they are already learning how to notice, test, repeat, and discover.

Aligned with PERMATA (JKM) standards, our Toddler Care Program supports the growth of:

  • early confidence

  • communication

  • social-emotional security

  • curiosity

  • and readiness through real experience

"At The ChildTime®, foundational Project-Based Learning begins with dot, line, movement, and sensory exploration because meaningful learning starts long before formal academics."

Where Thinking Starts to Become Visible

At this stage, children begin to move beyond simple exploration
into purposeful learning experiences.

Our approach integrates:

  • Project-Based Learning (PBL)

  • Thinking Classroom practices

  • guided play & structured routines

Children are encouraged to:

  • ask questions

  • express ideas

  • make simple connections

  • participate in group experiences

  • begin early problem-solving

Because this is the stage where children don’t just explore they begin to think about what they are experiencing.

Building Readiness—The Right Way

We focus on developing true school readiness, not just early academics.

Through consistent routines, meaningful interactions, and real experiences, children build:

  • confidence

  • independence

  • social-emotional stability

  • curiosity

  • and the ability to participate in a learning environment

"At The ChildTime®, readiness is not rushed. It is built through thinking, interaction, and meaningful experiences."

At The ChildTime®, our Preschool Program is where children don’t just learn they begin to think, question, and lead their own learning journey.

Grounded in our HEART™ Framework, we nurture children to grow as
insan sejahtera balanced individuals who are not only knowledgeable,
but emotionally grounded, socially aware, and able to engage meaningfully with the world.

Where Thinking Becomes Visible

Our approach integrates:

  • Project-Based Learning (PBL)
  • Thinking Classroom practices
  • ISTW (I See, I Think, I Wonder)

Through ISTW, children are guided to:

  • observe deeply (I See)
  • make meaning (I Think)
  • ask questions (I Wonder)

Because true learning is not about memorising it is about understanding, connecting, and thinking with purpose.

Learning Through Real-World Projects

Using Project-Based Learning (PBL), children explore meaningful themes through:

  • hands-on investigations
  • collaboration with peers
  • real-world connections

They don’t just complete tasks they create, discuss, test ideas, and reflect.

Building Insan Sejahtera

Aligned with Kurikulum Prasekolah 2026 (KPM), we focus on:

  • kompetensi (skills)
  • nilai (values)
  • kesejahteraan insan (well-being)

But beyond curriculum, we ask deeper questions:

  • Can your child think independently?
  • Can your child express ideas with confidence?
  • Can your child manage emotions and challenges?
  • Can your child learn with curiosity not pressure?

Because insan sejahtera is not built through pressureit is built through experience, guidance, and meaningful learning.

"Many children enter school knowing how to read but struggle to think, focus, and cope. At The ChildTime®, we build children who are not only ready for school but ready for life as insan sejahtera.
